Hello, I’m Nariko!

With over four years of experience, I specialize in design, illustration, print, and motion graphics. Using bold color and expressive typography, I aim to create compelling visuals that educate viewers on important social and environmental issues.

During my time at Rutgers University–Camden, I collaborated with department heads to produce promotional materials for the Visual, Media, and Performing Arts Department, with a strong focus on print production. My background and cultural identity inspire much of my work and push me to explore new ideas and challenge the boundaries of design.

My practice is grounded in intentional creation, cultural exploration, and sustainable design. I often use bold, high-contrast visuals to emphasize key messages and engage my audience. Graphic design has become a tool for both expression and self-discovery, and I’m passionate about continuing to grow in both my craft and identity.

I am proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, print production, branding, custom typography, client communication, design revisions, prepping print files, and operating production equipment such as the guillotine, shrink wrap machine, and laser cutter. I take pride in bringing thoughtfulness, precision, and attention to detail to every project. Outside of design, I enjoy traveling, reading, painting, gardening, discovering new music, and exploring creative inspiration wherever I can find it.
