A senior thesis book compiling research, artwork, and projects exploring the impact of overconsumption.

Objective

Research artists who confront environmental issues and use their work as inspiration to develop my own visual response to pollution, global warming, and consumerism.

Solution

Unpacking Overconsumption combines research, editorial design, and original artwork to explore the environmental impact of consumerism. To support the theme of reducing waste, I up-cycled an existing book, reused newsprint from a previous project, and designed a custom typeface to reduce ink usage.
