Unpacking Overconsumption

Unpacking Overconsumption is my senior thesis book. It features artists I’ve researched who push boundaries to expose how our planet is impacted by pollution, global warming, and consumerism. Their work inspired me to create pieces that confront these hard truths. My goal is to shed light on these urgent issues and highlight the importance of making everyday changes to help protect our planet. In support of my theme of reducing waste, I upcycled an existing book and reused newsprint from a previous project to print the pages. Throughout the book, I also use a custom typeface I designed to conserve ink.
